Your Bio

I am the family historian, the keeper of the memories. I take the pictures of the family activities. My family is like any other, we share the love, the hurts, new adventures, old antiques and buildings, the good and the bad- because that is what families do. We aren't all related by blood, but we are related where it counts - in the heart.

Amanda and the Studmuffin : Amanda came to us all the way from the mountains of Colorado to meet, fall in love with, and learn how to train The Studmuffin...(he has another name in real life, but this is a family spot.) She has worked with horses before, so was no stranger to what they need. She wanted to learn a new "old" way of training her horses. We love Amada and her energy.

Lizzy : I adopt kids, I borrow nieces, nephews and claim them all...But this is the first time I have been adopted by a horse!!!!
Actually, this is Nissa's love and she gets to live with Nissa, but they named her after this humble photographer and I couldn't be more thrilled or honored. She is a love - a beautiful patient darling. She will be trained to pull the wagon and carts as well as ride. I am thrilled to be so honored as to have her as a namesake. Thanks to Jason and Anissa for the honor.

27 April 2008 - 5th Day of Training : We were caught between storms - spring comes in many ways to our area. One day it is snowing - the next you get sunburned. But the training goes on every weekend - so those who could come, came and here we are for another fun filled day. The objective today was to walk with the horses with and without a lead rope, in areas that the kids had not been before. No pens this time, just open pastures.
